Welcome to Savannahs4U, a family-owned cattery nestled in the beautiful mountains of Franklin, North Carolina. Our journey began with our first Savannah cat, Neo, who brought light and joy into our lives, especially for my husband, an Iraq veteran. Neo helped him see life in a new light amidst his struggles with depression, and this breed has continued to bring happiness into our home.
At Savannahs4U, we specialize in both lower and higher generations of Savannah cats, carefully selecting and breeding the characteristics we cherish most. Our home is filled with love and activity, ensuring our cats are well-socialized and ready to bring joy to your family. With my husband home full-time, we devote a great deal of attention and care to our cats, making sure they are happy and healthy.
We would be thrilled to share our beloved Savannahs with you, extending the love and joy they bring into our lives to yours.

I am Julia Bellomy the cat mom , maid, and nurse. I wanted a Savannah for many years. When I finally made the decision to get a Savannah I did not research my breeder. That being said I got a boy whom I love very much with all sorts of issues. From temperament to health. We fell in love.
We knew we wanted another so I researched talked to different breeders and my experience was completely different this time. I knew then I wanted to be part of the positive experience. We wanted to be part of the positive of the breed. We ended up moving to North Carolina from Florida into a much bigger home that gave us a lot more space for our program. Our cats are raised in our home. We socialize, love , and care for all of our animals on our property. My husband being a veteran is home almost always with them which is such a blessing for the cats.
I love the Savannah cats, they are like toddlers always entertaining and so much fun. They love all they come into contact if socialized properly. I truly get to play and love the kittens and place them with families that are so excited about their new addition. This is why I will continue as long as possible to keep sharing and loving these amazing creatures.

My first Savannah, we got as a kitten.
We fell in love with him even though he didn’t have all the typical characteristics that people look for in Savannahs.
Then we met Melissa, who was one of the best breeders in the world, and the next Savannah we got was from her. After this, we decided we’d never need to work with another breeder.
I never liked animals, but since coming back from Iraq, they have helped me with my PTSD in so many ways. Having them around has significantly improved my mood and given me increased feelings of warmth. Savannahs can also help with managing stress, improving sleep, social connection, and feelings of safety. So overall, cats have improved my disability (PTSD) greatly, and I’m blessed to have them.
They love you unconditionally, and our Savannahs are always there for us. They offer everything they have, without asking anything in return. We all need cats in our lives to stay healthy mentally, and even physically. So if you are looking to get a Savannah, we have a lot to pick from, with breeds ranging choose from F1 to F6.

I was introduced to Savannah’s when my mom got our first one, Neo, when I was about 15. I was not a big cat person before Neo, I say within 2 weeks of him being home I fell in love with him and the breed, I was still skeptical if it was just him I liked but quickly found out as my mom brought more and more Savannah’s home that I love them as a whole.
